To ensure the safety and structural integrity of UAM platforms such as eVTOL vehicles, extensive testing is required. A range of sensors are used in wind tunnels, ground and flight testing, and health monitoring of in-service vehicles; electric motor-powered vehicles pose a particular challenge of obtaining accurate measurements during flight because high-EMI environments can corrupt sensor data. The presentation will provide engineers with a comprehensive overview of available sensor and cabling solutions to minimize electrical noise interference so successful measurements can be made.
