DGA TECHNIQUES AERONAUTIQUES

Established in 1949 in Toulouse, DGA Techniques Aéronautiques (DGA TA ) is a ground testing and expertise centre, gathering the necessary competence and facilities supporting most French armament programs including Rafale, A400M, TIGER, NH90 as well as space, land and naval systems.

DGA TA has several activities in various technical domains such as structures and the ability to complete a full aircraft test, materials, aircraft systems (except engine), environment qualification, embedded software, optical detection and detectability, airlift and crew safety with a windblast test bench.

10% of its activity is contracted with Industry supporting several civilian project aircrafts and helicopters. DGA TA acts as a government airworthiness authority in several of its technical domains and activities and is an EASA qualified entity regarding civilian certification activities for embedded software and structures. It also carries out investigations following in service incidents or accidents for the benefit of the Military and Civilian Safety Board.
