TAAC to Showcase Aerospace Testing Capabilities in Toulouse
24/09/2025
TAAC, a joint venture between Altınay Defense Technologies and Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ), will showcase its test system capabilities at the Aerospace Test and Development Show 2025. The company’s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening its position as a global player in aerospace engineering and innovation.

Exhibiting at Stand 409 from 30 September to 1 October at the MEETT Toulouse Exhibition & Convention Centre, TAAC will highlight its Iron Bird test infrastructures, demonstrating the engineering excellence supporting some of Türkiye’s most strategic aerospace programs.
With a portfolio spanning motion control systems, integrated test platforms and landing gear systems, TAAC is among the few companies worldwide capable of delivering comprehensive aerospace testing solutions. Its technologies are already proven in the indigenous programs like National Combat Aircraft (KAAN) and Advanced Jet Trainer (HÜRJET), where TAAC has delivered both airborne systems / subsystems and full-scale test environments that enabled safe and efficient validation ahead of flight.
Highlighting the significance of the exhibition, Enis ATA, General Manager of TAAC, remarked:
“The Aerospace Test and Development Show offers a valuable opportunity for us to present TAAC’s engineering strength and innovative solutions to the global aerospace community. Our participation reflects our vision to expand international cooperation while continuing to contribute to Türkiye’s strategic programs. With our expertise in landing gear, flight control and test systems, we are proud to be among the few companies worldwide that can deliver such a broad and integrated capability.”
Proven in KAAN and HÜRJET: Iron Bird to be Highlighted in Toulouse
TAAC’s Iron Bird Test Systems, which will be showcased in a virtual reality environment at the exhibition, have already played a key role in Türkiye’s flagship aircraft projects. For HÜRJET, the company developed one of the most advanced test environments in the country, enabling engineers to replicate real flight conditions and validate every control system in advance of the aircraft’s maiden flight.
The same expertise supports the National Combat Aircraft KAAN, where TAAC provides several aircraft subsystems along with essential test infrastructures. Participating in Toulouse represents a significant step in bringing Türkiye’s nationally proven systems to the international stage—sharing detailed information about these technologies and fostering opportunities for cooperation, innovation, and engineering leadership.
In addition, within the ‘Testing Forum’, TAAC Test Systems Manager Tara GÜRGEN, together with NI, will deliver a presentation on “The Use of Iron Birds to Advance Validation Testing.” In the presentation, the key features and advantages of Iron Bird systems—particularly their role in supporting safety, efficiency, and innovation in aerospace development—will be discussed.
‘The Use of Iron Birds to Advance Validation Testing’ – Testing Forum, Hall 7, October 01, 13:20–13:40.
