Metal product quality assurance is universally relied upon to ensure the safety of aerospace structures, and our confidence in these products depends on the integrity of the mechanical testing data used to evaluate them. With rising pressures to revise methodology and results in process, it is critical for labs to prevent unauthorized additions, revisions, or deletions. This presentation will discuss approaches to achieve this, and how their implementation can not only save costly excessive quarantine and recall expenses, but prevent these disruptions altogether, as well as enhancing trust from the producer right the way up the value chain.
